My name is Katy Rawson (formally Castro). I'm a 27 year old work at home Mom to my daughter, Zadey Jade.
Since Zadey joined our family, I've always sought after ways that I can take the skills I have taught myself and earn an income to better stay at home and be Mom. And so, building websites started...
The majority of my knowledge is self-taught from trying and failing, purchasing books, searching, reading, and asking questions. And each time I've learned a new skill, a new program, or new way of completing a task, I'm thrilled to take the knowledge that I have learned and apply it to designs in order to better serve another's needs.
My work at home experience has come in many forms. Besides being the long time owner of many popular work at home sites that I have since sold, I've also been a faithful blogger on the WordPress platform for the last 3 years.
More than just work, I'm a proud Las Vegas, Nevada local. I enjoy spending time traveling through my town, visiting the Las Vegas strip, hitting the road for long trips, thrill rides, theme parks, scrapbooking, writing, and visiting family.
